PP 0W20 vs M1 AFE 0W20

PP 0w-20 is closer to a 30 weight oil I'd use that between the two.

If the small difference in viscosity is so important wouldn't it be better to move up to 30 grade?

Go to the sites below for the MOBIL 1 A.F.E. 0w-20 S.P. , GF-6A virgin oil analysis ( V.O.A.) from 12/17/21 and the PENNZOIL Platinum 0w-20 S.P. , GF-6A V.O.A. .

Thanks, for some reason it doesn't appear on their main list.

Yep. M1 AFE 0W20 always has good UOA's. I use it on all three of our vehicles but sometimes it's not available so I get PP 0W20 instead. I've always wondered if the PP might actually be a little better especially since it has that "natural gas" base oil. That and it seems like the times I ran the PP, I seemed to remember the engines running slightly better. Not sure about that though.
I believe M1 0W20 may also use GTL (natural gas) base oil as well . Others here smarter than me may confirm.
