They had better not! You're paying for them testing YOUR sample, not someone else's sample. If you deal with reputable labs like Dyson Analysis, there should be no monkey business.

When you send in a Virgin sample of oil to a Lab, never put the brand of oil you are submitting. Just the weight.

Why is that? I put down on my virgin sample of Royal Purple 5w30 that it was Royal Purple. I sent it to Terry Dyson last week.
