I have a friend with one of the jumpstart batteries. ( like this one: http://www.amazon.com/Duracell-DJUMP-17-...674&sr=8-23) But he has left it uncharged (for possibly years?) in his trunk thinking it could just be left forever and it would be there when he needed it. Now, there is a HUGE YELLOW STICKER which says in BIG BOLD LETTERS to keep this charged by plugging it in every few months. But, being a numb-skull, he neglected to do this. I plugged it in last night and it doesn't seem to be charging correctly. It has been charging for 24 hours and the display on the front, which registers percent of charge, is constantly changing from between 3 to 7 percent. It has a little light on it, and when I first found it yesterday the battery was so dead it couldn't even turn on the light. Is there a proper way to recharge this? Should I just leave it plugged in for a few days and see what happens?
