The local gas station now has 30 lb propane bottles for RVs available for exchange. Multiply by 0.7 for US dollars. There are over two hundred camping spots within ten miles of here so they’re thinking there might be demand for them.

I don't know about Canada, but in the USA, exchange tanks are not filled up, they have less propane than if you have them refilled.
I only exchange if my tank is out of date.

As a general rule, an owned and properly filled 30 pound propane tank has almost double the propane (7.1 gallons) of what today's exchange 20 pounder has (3.54 gal)

I'm quite sure they will find a way to short change us with exchange 30 pounders. I really do think that we should get what we pay for, with regard to weights and measures. In fact, I believe that's a law.....
