Premium Guard US

There are a few instances on this website, from many years ago, when Ecoguard and Premium Guard did respond.

But they seem to have become much too big for that now.

Or the board drove them off because they think they know more than the people who built them. This place has a habit of that.

I think people here are mostly asking for specifications (efficiency mostly) and the fact is that efficiency is low on the list of priorities, let alone answering individual requests for it. I'd be pretty certain that PG nor their suppliers are testing filters for efficiency once they've established that the media being used meets specification. Any ongoing testing by the supplier, PG, or even Napa is going to be mostly for construction integrity only. I would think that Napa did and may periodically test for multipass efficiency to make sure they meet OE spec, hence they say their Gold filters are now 99% at 30 microns. But really, this is a low margin commodity business and efficiency testing for every filter is an unnecessary expense for them so enthusiasts won't get answers.

The board brings up a lot a questions that a good oil filter company should not have a problem clarifying.

In today's high tech world, once a few different sized filters in the same line are efficiency tested, an accurate model could be made to determine the efficiency of any sized filter in the line using the same media.
