I couldn’t find a thread on new battery purchases so let see if this one can work.

Out: AC Delco 42 Month Professional. 7 years old. Originally 770 CCA. Was fading away to 500 CCA on tests. Good enough for 32 degree starts but I have -25 F weather coming this winter and there are no plug ins at work. Obviously not a hot climate. :)

In: AC Delco 42 Month maintenance free. Although it has Gold coloured decals, they no longer label them Gold or even Professional. It’s 770 CCA and an additional piece of info not included before is that it is rated as 70 Ahr. It has a RC of 120 minutes. It seems to have an label on it with a 03/20, but that is on the large battery label and it not a sticker. I bought it at my Local Lordco Auto Parts and they had to order it for over night delivery, so I could not pick through the inventory. Lordco does not use a date sticker. The receipt is the warranty, and the info is also kept on the computer file of my account there. I get a frequent buyer discount. The price was equivalent to $135 USD. Also, Lordco does not do a core charge. There is battery recycling at local waste center. They don’t pay for batteries. By the way, there does not seem to be any indication where it was made.

I checked the voltage and CCA on my battery tester. It came in at 12.67 V and 862 CCA and the tester said 90 % charged. I put it on my smart charger and it cycled with a beginning charge rate of 2.1 amps and was fully charged with a float in a total of 9 hrs. I let it settle over night and tested it again at 13.0 V and 810 CCA. No explanation why the CCA was actually lower than the previous reading but I could probably top it up again and re check. Here are some photos. Enjoy.

None! My Jeep needs a battery. Seems like everyone is sold out of Group 34's at the moment. Only ones I found were the $200 ones.

Battery mart said to check back Monday to see if they got any $69 Deka's in.

Traveller battery on the garden tractor … last one was $29 and lasted 2 years … same thing was $44 now
Was in a hurry and needed other stuff from TSC …
Not likely to get these again

And now for the rest of the story. I drove the truck for 50 miles, mostly at 65 miles per hour and then measured the voltage and did a battery test. I got 12.6 volts and 901amps. ( continuation of OP’s posting).

Autozone Duralast 96R for the 2014 Focus last weekend. The original Motorcraft battery lasted 7 years... Tried to get a Costco battery but they didn’t have any in stock. He said he could have one for me in 6 weeks🙈. Ended up paying $149

Just did 2 batteries last weekend.
2000 Camry had a battery from 2016 in it. Replaced Exide 24F with WalMart Everstart Maxx 24F (East Penn code).
2011 Edge also had a battery from 12/2016 in it. Replaced AAA 65 with WalMart Everstart Maxx 65 (East Penn code).

Those batteries died what I would consider to be on the low end of normal for around here.
The Camry is a commuter car, and isn't used as much as it used to be because work from home, but is still used around once per week. Battery seemed to die catastrophically since it was fine a week ago. For the Edge it's seldom used and only rarely on a battery tender which is my thinking on this one. With the new battery on the Edge it will either be on a battery tender Jr or a solar battery maintainer. I still need to reset the BMS on that. Might update with pics when I get a chance.

New batteries both were $98.76, plus sales tax. Both had a date code sticker of 3/21 on them.

Now I got to replace two sump pump batteries next!
