Post your latest oil top off

Whoops!

Just moved from a different state not too long ago. A number of things are in storage, I recently picked up grease and oil and such. (Still didn't have 0w20, 5w20 and many other things with me) My Daytona 3 ton jack and a number of tools.

Wife's 2013 rav4 was going 2.5 hours one way yesterday morning. Went to top off and didn't have the oil. Takes 0w20 or 5w20. Used Kirkland 5w30 full synthetic. Needed 0.25 quarts. Best to get it topped off while cold on level ground because I'm not able to check it on level ground as often as I'd like to.

Valve cover seeps. Owned it since 2017 and 32k miles. Now has 198k! Changed the oil every 6k miles myself with an oem filter.

Change oil and filter every 3k on 3 vehicles. 128k / 126k / 614k All vehicles have no leaks and don't burn oil. Do not top off
Meanwhile people spend big money on skidsteers, zero turn mowers, side by sides, atvs etc and don't change the oil or only change it every two years. I don't even make an oil change an extra step. I drive home from work and drop the oil while hot or with the riding mower I go out and mow and drop immediately after while hot. Not expensive to change two quarts of oil but people act like it is on small engines!

Added a 15-oz bottle of STP blue to my 09 G5.
Oil (GTX 5W-30) has 1500 miles on it and is full, but TC makes noise now with almost every start up, so trying to ‘cushion’ it a bit…slight over-fill won’t hurt engine.

Turbocharger is making some noise at the beginning of start up?

makes a rattle for a few seconds on start up, but it is getting more frequent and a bit louder.
I have mentioned this before on Bitog, but I used to own a 2015 Honda CRV that started a cold start rattle at about 60,000 miles. That 2.4L engine is notorious for that. To fix it right the VVT actuator would have had to be replaced, costing over $500.00. I poured a can of Liqui Moly MoS2 Anti-Friction Engine Treatment part # 2009 in it at got rid of the rattle. It takes 4-5 hundred miles of use to get full benefit of the product according to the Liqui Moly tech people. It may be a whole different issue with your 2.2 Ecotec so I don't know if it would help. It doesn't cost much, about $10.00 a can. I use it in everything now; it made a believer of me. https://www.amazon.com/Liqui-Moly-2...id=1752777271&sprefix=MoS2,aps,90&sr=8-1&th=1
