Picked this up on rollback.

Bought two 5 gallon jugs of PP HM from the local Wally world. $27 per + TAX on sale ($3.00 above online pricing because I live in Hawaii - don't get me started) so with the Pennzoil rebate it's gonna end up around $18.50 per jug. Not too bad.

Plan on putting this into my newly purchased 2011 Lexus RX 350 with 175,000 miles. I guess that's high enough mileage to use HM oil, yes?:cool::cool:

Bought a 2024 Ford Bronco Raptor, equipped with the 3L Ecoboost 418HP V6, with c. 3000 miles on it.. As I often do, I initially over-researched what oil to use, but with my also-over-analyzer son helping, I 'settled' on RedLine 5W-30.. Also decided to use Motorcraft filters.. Have the filters; oil will arrive tomorrow the 5th.

The Valvoline Restore & Protect in my 2009 Scion xB had been in there for six months and a little over 4k miles, and since it was the fill immediate after a piston soak I decided to freshen it up. I changed the filter at 1k and it was pretty filthy inside so I’ll be cutting open the one that went 3K to see how much carbon it caught.

The replacement was a frankenmix of three different 5w-20 synthetics I had in partial bottles and a Motorcraft FL-910S filter.

So you don't subscribe to the "Use only DW-1 fluid in Honda transmissions" dogma? I used Maxlife in a Camry with nice results but I chickened out with a CRV and paid a fair amount more to get the DW-1.
Been using it for years. Acura actually released a TSB for the DW1 overheating and breaking down causing a shudder. The dealer did the reprogram and fluid exchange and it never fixed it. At 30k miles I switched to Maxlife and never had the problem again. At 132k miles currently.

5 qt jug Mobil1 5w20 truck/SUV at ORielleys 36.99. Had a $5 online coupon and they have $15 rebate. 16.99 net for 5 qts. Why not.
They also had a 5 qt jug of 10w30 pennzoil platinum for 4.86 on clearance rack. That came home too.

Found a smoking hot deal on some Pennzoil Platinum. Bought the last two jugs they had at $15 per. Evidently this store has decided to pull Pennzoil off the shelf except the syn blend variety. I normally run 0w20 in my “good” truck and 5w30 in the rest of our vehicles but for the money the truck will be happy with 5w20
