Post your latest oil purchase or even filter.

This has got me wondering if I should make a trip across the border to see if there are any deals at the AAP location in Niagara Falls NY?

It's the only version that my Accord struggled to get to about 5-6k when I'm heeded to the firehouse. It was the first time I had a 40W though it should be more of the 0W affect at that point.

The 0W-20, 0W-30, 5W-30 of M1, PP, PP Euro-L don't have that same issue. I notoce it more for me on how I drive at that point also as my car is a 6MT. My kids cars are automatic and not pushed as hard until warmer. Unless I'm headed to a call mine is also driven easier until warm also. No issues noted then.

Next OCI I'll probably try the Delo in it to see how it is anyway.

Scored 4 5qt jugs of this Valvoline Advanced Full Syn 10w30 from the closeout shelf at Oreilly's for $6.74/5qt. They also had 2 1qt jugs for $1.53/ea. I bought both for a total of 22 quarts for $32.75. Total savings off shelf price was $140.92. I'll use it in my Tercel and who knows what else. Too good of a deal to pass up IMO.

Don’t forget your $5 Valvoline rebates!

Snapped up 5 Fram Titaniums & 2 CQ premiums (1 already on the car) from AAP’s clearance sale. All 80% off. All, except the FS3600, are wire backed with pinkish media like the OG Ultras. All of them feature holes instead of louvers which is also strange, imo. Three FS7317s (all made on June15, 2023 for some reason according to date code), one FS3614 (date code from 2022), and a larger capacity FS3600 that I thought was wire backed since the others were, but much to my dismay, isn’t 😡 I’ll still find a use for it. But yeah, this was a score, the OG wirebacks are getting hard to find

Ordered below from Rock Auto 4 Wix Filters. The first two had good size holes in the inner tube. The bottom two for Chevy and Ford had poorly formed louvers. Rock gave me credit on those plus prorate freight reimbursement.

The top two were for a diesel generator and boat. The generator I installed without visibly checking. Ran an hour before seeing a thread about issues on wix. Removed and checked a fortunately had good size openings(holes) in inner tube.
