Got some Castrol Edge 0w-20 (black bottle) for my 3.5 Ecoboost, and threw in a can of Liqui Moly Molybdenum additive in the engine just because I got like 8 cans of it for dirt cheap on eBay.

Also got some Fram Ultra Synthetic XG10575, direct alternative to Motorcraft FL500S.

Do you think that additive actually does anything?

Another 20 quarts of Kirkland 5W-30 are going into the stash. I've stuck with the Kirkland more faithfully than I do most flavors. I like the Kirkland Olive Oil too, which shows promising results on my blood test.

Well I backed out in the ProTec. Got CHAMP 2835 instead. 30 cents cheaper per filter. Plus, since I’ve been where I’m at since late 2006 we used XHANP filters for a very long time. Never ever a issue.

Pick up 6 quarts of Valvoline EP 5W30 for my 2022 Tacoma. Switched from an OEM filter to a Fram Ultra for this time around. I expect to see no difference, but for only $3 more than an OEM filter why not. 5k OCI is overkill for both the oil and filter, the best oil is fresh oil.

Oh and for those wondering the filter is wire backed.

Good advice.
I've got the Shell T6 5w40 in the sump now but this oil is going in next. It's a group III oil & I'll be running it much further than 5k with a UOA that I'll post on BITOG UOA Thread. Thanks

Castrol GTX fs 5w20 5 jugs and 2 mc filters from a different Walmart then I usually go to. The Castrol was on clearance.

Then I went across the street to Theisens. A store I've never been to. Kind of a farm and fleet store and that's where I bought some mag1.

12 quarts of 5w20 syn Blend.
6 quarts of 5w30 full syn
And then 6 quarts of Low viscosity atf
