The large boxes are all 12-count Wix filters.

Frankly, I only keep a few sizes in stock, this covers most of the engines I see. If something unexpected comes in I'll go three blocks over to NAPA.

The Havoline was on Closeout at Walmart for $2.25 a quart so was the Valvoline Synthetic Blend in the white bottle but this was the last one they had of either one. The only thing we have that takes 5W-20 is the Escape so it will probably go in that.
The 0W-20 is for the 2017 Camry the price has really went up by about $8 since last time.

Going to go with the BITOG fave on my son's Focus this go around...Wallyworld Supertech. Will be the first DIY as the last 7 year's worth if changes were free at the dealer with Motorcraft syn blend 5W20. They were out of the regular syn so did the high-mileage. 8 years old/111.5K.

Always really liked those wheels on the Focus

Got this for the 1,000 mile first oil change on the new Atlas Cross Sport with the VR6 engine. 0w30 VW504View attachment 48487View attachment 48488
Have the 3.6 in our '18 Atlas and just did my first DIY change on it. I use the ol' standard - VW502 00 (5W40 currently). Nice funnel setup! I didn't have too much issue with a standard funnel when I did it but on my MK7 Golf Sportwagen, I have one that screws into the filler opening. I think you'll find the 3.6 gets a bit of fuel dilution if you run UOAs especially with lots of short trips.

That CTA oil funnel is my favorite one for my VAG products. The red "cap" at the bottom twists in just like the oil filler cap and the funnel with its double O rings snuggs down into it. Zero drips. I have other color caps that fit my other vehicles, the Audi takes a light blue one.
I read alot of 0w30/504 vs 502 threads and got this kit from Blauparts for 15% off. I've never ran a 0w30 before so why not lol.
Oil dilution? Great! Hope its not as bad as the Honda 1.5 I have. My wife drives it twice a week on a 100 mile round trip to visit offices she manages so hopefully that'll cook off any extra fuel.

I'll have to check out the funnel. It's nothing like the Honda so don't worry, just more than I see on my other VW. Ours is almost 100% short around-town trips so keep that in mind. I have been doing ~5K changes so 1 a year, maybe 2 at the dealer b/c it just coincided with other recalls/service campaigns/warranty stuff so easier. Been a great vehicle. Not sure if you are a member of any of the FB Atlas groups (I'm a mod on the Atlas Enthusiasts one - there are a few others but those are mainly people fussing/complaining so not interested). Also vwvortex has an Atlas sub-forum and there is www.vwatlasforum.com which I am a mod on. Lots of good info if you filter out the BS.

At WM, I was hemming and hawing then I grabbed a 5 qt jug of Magnatec 0w20 when i saw it marked down to $10.00 !

But when I got to the NCR scanner register to check out, it rang up for $19+. I didnt have the will to fix this and I was at a self check-out, so I just
accepted it. I really thought the 10 buck price was an error anyhow - though i did look at the stock tag and it said "Castrol... something" 0W20 $2.00/qt" so i ran with it. They wife is paying for it anyhow -- it's for her subaru.
I also grabbed a Fram Ultra I think that was $8.98.
All totaled, 28 dollars is more economical than the $110 dollars Sue Ba-boo "service with a HIGH cost" charges, though I do have to lay my tired bones on the cold drive way in freezing temps to change the oil.
The car ran better than new when I gave her a test drive around the bock. Excellent programming on the CVT in that car. Not Kidding. This older chassis drive MUCH better than the new one esp if you appreciate good steering communication over a flabby ride.
Most cars have HORRENDOUS, DANGEROUS steering these days. It's really criminal, and auto manufactures/ engineers should be called out. Take you 7" display screen and Apple Car Play and do "you know what" with it!
Get the basics correct first, idiots and no-nothing corporate dolts.
