Post your latest oil purchase or even filter.

3 bucks less a quart than M1 15W-50..

Pretty much the cheapest oil on the shelf too. Someone must have come in there and cleaned them out..

Nah, I’m over the online scams or “deals” people try for and never get. Wal Mart has burned me many times. No more
Tell you what, wish I would have purchased more Chevron Supreme Synthetic Blend 5W30 SP last year for the 5 quart jug at less then 8 bucks a pop from Wal Mart. Bought 8 of them overall with ZERO issues. That same oil today is $17.44 a 5 quart jug at Wal Mart. Worst can happen, they dont charge your debit/credit card for an order/purchase.

I still have some of that Chevron Supreme 5w30 left

A Fram PH7317 with the silicone ADBV for the Civic. It will probably be a few weeks before I change the oil, but I figured I'd grab one since I was at Wally World anyhow.

Cheapo stuff for the oil burners/leakers and premium stuff for the good vehicles.
40L of oil!
The Mannol was £52 for 20L (less than 60USD)
The Total was £105 for 20L (116 USD)

Never used the Mannol before, it carries no approvals (even though it has a long list of specs on the back) and whilst this could be a placebo, I think it smells like gear oil / manual transmission oil... wish us luck with that!

I'm pretty sure the Total stuff is the same as the Elf 5w40 which the Renault dealer sells at a premium, since Total and Renault merged, and the approvals are all the same.

I bought 3 small tubes of Superlube Synthetic multipurpose grease with PTFE yesterday at the hardware store.

Elf and Total Fina merged around 2009. The current co. name is Total.
Elf and then Total sponsored Renault Forumula racing, but neither Elf nor Total merged with Renault. Renault was owned by the French Gov at the time Elf and Total merged.

Total dropped the Elf branding in the US and sells as Total brand.

Just received 2 x 5qt jugs of Penzoil Ultra 0w-40 delivered from Walmart.com.. Put them in my LR4 (8.5qt capacity) with a Micro-Guard filter from Amazon... Using a Mity-Vac it's the easiest Oil Change on a vehicle I have ever owned.
How's running the 0-40 been? I've been having good luck with PUP 5-20 in my V8 LR4.

I went to Canadian Tire tonight to buy a 5L of Pennzoil 5W40 Euro but he sale had ended. It was supposed to be $34CAD but was now $70. So, I ordered it online from Walmart instead. I only wanted it because I have 4L left from a different bottle and want to have enough to change the oil in a 2010 Nissan Frontier without mixing oils.

My usual oil, Supertech 5w40 Euro, is $26 at Walmart and that's what I'll be going with again in the future as long as it's in stock - I can't find anything cheaper here, it works well, and I don't like playing the rebate/gift card game.

I also picked up a Fram Orange Can for the upcoming oil change. I noticed Canadian Tire had Mann filters, which I have never seen before locally, but only for cartridge parts and not cans.....
