Post your latest oil purchase or even filter.

That must have cost you a pretty penny.
I see you ran VPBR in one of your vehicles? What do you think?

I found out about Valvoline "Restore" when doing research here 4 yrs ago because of a vehicle we had recently purchased with an oil consumption problem.

Almost 4 yrs ago our new to us 2007 GM Yukon Denali w/all aluminum 6.2L had stuck rings, caused by 130k miles with a poorly designed pvc system in the driverside valve cover. I quickly discovered a GM TSB which involved a valve cover change and a piston and combustion chamber soak. I did these and all has been well for the last 4 yrs and 50k miles.

Minimal impact.

6 quarts of Valvoline EP 5W30 and an OEM Toyota filter for my upcoming 10k maintenance. Switching to from 0W20 to 5W30 cause the internet said it’s better

Oh and a Valvomax drain plug.

5 qt. jug of 0w16 Mobil1. It seems only Walmart carried that grade. None of the local auto supply stores has that grade in 5 qts. They did in 1qt but at the qt premium price so no thanks. I tried to find a filter but the book was so old that it didn't have my year vehicle. Off to an auto supply store and I got a WIX filter. The book at this store only went to 2020 so had to make best guess on which filter to buy. We shall see if I got the right one in a few days.

Two 5 gallon jugs of Mobil 1 5w20 from Wally at $24.47 each. Submitted $8.00 rebate on each jug.
Twelve Motorcraft FL-910S filters from Wally at $3.97 each. Family has four vehicles that use FL-910S, plus they fit my two mowers.

Well my penultimate purchase was 3 jugs of Valvoline European 0W-40, bought online from Walmart for about $25 each (I thought that was a good deal, since shipping is free over $35) but they arrived in the condition you see from the picture, there was a cup of oil on the bottom of the bag. I didn't even open that bag and asked for a refund which they gave me, I had to return the products to our local Walmart though.
The reason I ordered it online is that Valvoline 0W-40 is not available in stores, 5W-40 is.
I already suspected something went wrong when the shipment tracking history showed a reprint of the label because it was unreadable.
Walmart if you're listening: better packaging please. I hate to waste oil.

Just did my first oil change using mobil1 extended performance 5w20 in my 2019 Ram hemi. I used a mobil1 filter. After about 900+ miles, the occasional lifter tick at startup seems to be gone…I hope. Oil pressure is up 1-2 pounds….interesting
