LG Bio ? just used for the first time in my new generator … The capacity is some weird 37 Oz … so a quart plus half a bottle. Used the other half in the Fusion since I was putting LG red in the FWD auto …

Florida panhandle here. Generator health is key.

Any subtle differences noticed after adding the atf Red? Plan on adding some to my Silverado soon. Wonder how the 4L60 would like it?

My son drives the Fusion and texted “it def shifts firmer” … I put it in my 2010 4L60e a few years back …
Can not say I could feel anything … but had a drain and external filter so it always had good ATF

2013 Chevy Equinox AWD with the 2.4L oil burner... @ 133,500 miles
Out: Magnatec 5W-30 and Bosch Workshop filter, 1.5 qts of Chevron Supreme makeup oil over 4500 miles
In: Kirkland FS 5W-30 and an XG9018

It'll be interesting to see how the Kirkland does!

2020 Terrain. Dropped the factory fill at 950 miles. Added back Kirkland 5-30 and a WIX filter. Let me tell you the factory filter was on so tight I was damaging the case trying to get it off. I finally started spraying the seal with WD40 and poking at it. I could not get it to budge and refilled the engine and called it a night. The next day I went back at it and kept poking at the seal. Finally I was able to get it free. I have done countless oil changes over the years and have never found a filter this tight. The factory must have installed it dry and at a very high torque.

I guess it time to go to the factory and install the filter on your new car so you know its done right!

I just did my winter oil changes over the last couple weeks for my farm (7 vehicles, 5 tractors, 2 4 wheelers and 2 Polaris Rangers) and totally wiped out my stash.

Made an order today.

1 16 gallon Drum Mobil 1 AFE 0w20. (For the Chevys and Toyota’s we run)
1 30 gallon drum Amsoil SS 5w30 (we have a few chevys that spec 5w30 as well as Chevy motors on our irrigation pumps that run 5w30). Amsoil Is neck and neck price wise with M1 and my wife has a sister close to an Amsoil distribution center so we drive over and see her and pick up our Amsoil stuff).
2 55 gallon drums of Valvoline Premium Blue 15w40 (I’m a Cummins guy and LOVE how this stuff runs in my diesels)
6 quarts of Amsoil 5w50 Atv/Utv oil for the Polaris Rangers.
5 gallons Amsoil 10w30 small engine oil (mowers, push trimmers, etc)
6 quarts Amsoil 10w40 ATV/UTV engine oil for the 4 wheelers.

Yes, I will still continue to buy stuff on close out. (RGT for $2 is a STEAL)

This pretty much sets my 2021

Another note. I tried to order a crap ton of oil and air filters today for all my equipment for the year. My Barn/shop shelves are bare. I was told that due to covid that most of the air filter/oil filter manufacturers have switched to making PPE and they haven’t gotten back on track making filters so places that place bulk orders are having a hard time.

Had some business some 40 miles from home and couldn't resist buying another case of Cam2 Super Pro synthetic blend 5w-30 at $1.99 a quart at Napa. I was hoping the store carried a High Mileage formula, but it didn't. Current stash = 117 quarts (35 syn blend, 82 full syn).
