Fast delivery from Walmart. I’m pretty sure this is the first oil I’ve purchased even in the past few months that had the SQ rating on it. I’ve gotten Castrol Edge, Castrol GTX High Mileage, Pennzoil Ultra Platinum and Tractor supply brand all still SP. Just an observation.

I got 3 of the Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 4 qt's amazon deal recently for engine break in short interval changes.

Also, snagged several quarts of the HPL PPCMO from their recent sale. Hopefully this will last me until close to next year!

I got about $72 worth of those filters, air filters, and cabin air filters. I also got some of the fd2 filters for my friend's 2001 Ford f150. Can't beat $1.12 and $1.39 each! Even my specialty air filter for my Traverse was $3.xx. I asked advance what filters they would be using in the future and he said we are just going to be having carquest brand filters. That can't be correct.

For Canadians and anyone interested, here is the latest version of a 10060 sold at Canadian Tire as an OE Plus, which I believe is a Champ XL in disguise. It used to have that extra top plate but it’s been gone for while. It uses the same numerical labeling as Fram.

It says Product of USA on the filter bottom in the same font as the Champs. It seems to have an orange bypass valve and well made louvers and the traditional orange ADBV. For ZZ Top fans, it still is embossed with ZZ.

The better choice would be the Pro Series OE Plus though, which is sold at Part Source and some CT locations now. It’s a PG made filter so it’s the same as Carquest Premium, NAPA Gold, etc

Stopped by two Advance Auto stores today and picked up 7ea total Valvoline Hybrid 0W-20 that is on clearance for $14.96 a 5qt jug when checked out in store. Clerk at the second store told me their system shows a lot of it in warehouse and they could get it in if a customer requested. it.

No, you cannot build a oil change bundle with the clearance pricing and get a free filter.
