Post your latest oil or filter purchase

The north michigan toyota dealer was selling oil filters for $7 a piece. Same price as Walmart and others! I always went to toyota dealers in indiana because I'd get the filter with a oil plug gasket for $5. Not the case in Michigan I guess! I asked why the filters and parts were so much and the parts counter guy at toyota said because it was in traverse city lol! What in the world.

Have to make sure I get more oil filters and oil before they are needed.

Slim pickings on Castrol and mobil 1 oils at Walmart! Also same visit no red stabil available. Finally bought stabil at another store.

That's interesting! I wonder why they changed to potentially allow more than one rebate.

The O'Reilly store rebate still doesn't say either way, whether >1 rebate will be honored.
I called Castrol and inquired. The service rep called back later in the afternoon and left a message after checking with rebate group/administrator. You can do more than one, she did not give a limit. Each submission needs to have its own receipt with store details. She did say again it is only for in store purchase, no online, no order online and pick up at store. So you need to go into whichever store to get your jugs. Instructions on form said make sure price is circled also.

I really am trying to stick to Valvoline Restore and Protect but $9 for 5 qts is just quite difficult to pass up. I’ll probably get a couple more, not sure what viscosity but best price is the plain edge 5W-30 good for 4-5x longer than what it will see in my vehicles.

Picket up two jugs of 5W-30 Castrol Edge at Walmart for the current $30 rebate. Took them to the Services desk and they did the online $24.98 price matching.

Grand opening of our Dollar Tree. Not too shabby for $2.50 and it’s API SQ

And YES, I won’t wuss out or whine. I’ll send it in for VOA since I never heard of this hrand. Anyone else ever spot it in the wild?

Apparently I haven't been paying much attention to the new api specs, didn't know they were now on Q
