That Magnatec SUV 5W30 is a nice oil, it carries MB 229.51 and dexos2.
I also use the Wesfil-Cooper oil filters. Great value filters.

1. 2006 Toyota Sequoia Limited 4.7 V8, 191,381 miles on vehicle, 4,737 miles on oil for 3.5 months
Out: Mobil 1 Truck and SUV 5w30 4.5 qts + Mobil 1 Euro 0w40 2 qts, Toyota 90915-YZZD3 filter

I've had the shop do the changes for the entirety of my ownership of this car. I just never wanted to deal with the potential mess.
Yesterday, I hiked up my big boy underoos and did it myself. I picked up all the tools to make it easy and clean. And easy and clean it was. The shop can do this in the winter. I love my local shop, btw.

Out: Cam2 Syn from the shop.
In: Kirkland 0w20 plus 0.3 quart from leftover for 5.3 qts.

2023 Honda PCX 160cc. Odometer right at 1000 miles. About 550 miles on the oil. Did the engine and transmission oils this change. Lucky for me Honda recommends 10w30 for both holes.
Out: Pennzoil Platinum 10w30
In: QS Ultimate Durability 10w30
Honda specs JASO MA or MB I believe but pretty much only their specific oils meet it in 10w30 flavor. The scoot has a dry CVT so I'm not concerned about running an energy conserving oil. I did it for thousands of miles on 2 previous PCX's with no issues.
Edit: It takes just under a quart to do both the transmission and engine. Another wonderful benefit of scooters.

No more power train warranty OCI on the Silverado. Time to move to a slightly thicker oil to help quiet down the engine some. It’s not loud, it could just be quieter!

Nice choice going to the 5w30. I honestly can't bring myself to ever use a 20 weight or thinner oil.
The owners manuals are written by Manufacturers trying to avoid the CAFE tax. That is why all owners manuals in the US today
only list 1 grade of oil for all temperature conditions as that is a rule for CAFE, where whatever thin oil the auto manufacturer uses during the MPG test is the only one that can be recommended in the owners manual.
