If you have access to a lift and good tools, those aren't terrible to do a rear main seal in.

I have had good success with 205 Reseal. And it does not harm to anything else, we will see. Leak ait that bad.
I don't know about that it's glycol ether which is essential DOT3 brake fluid, so I'd watch using it as it can possibly damage any rubber seals it comes in contact with, and GM has had a tendency to use Teflon rear main seals so seal Swellers may not help at all

I had a slight leak on my 1999 7.4 suburban 140k+ a while back, used it and dry as a bone now so we will see.

6443km on oil (4003 miles). 7 months on oil
Out: Pennzoil 5w40 Euro and Fram Orange can
In: Quaker State Euro 5w40. No filter change. OEM crush washer.
The new filter is in the picture but I left the old one on instead. I’d like to do longer OCI but seem to have trouble doing it.

If the leak isn't bad I wouldn't repair it either. Maybe the 205 will do it's thing and save you some money.

might, if I remember i will report back..............I agree, I am not a leak snob.........good reason to check the oil and top off.If the leak isn't bad I wouldn't repair it either. Maybe the 205 will do it's thing and save you some money.

330 000km service done. Petro Canada Duron UHP 5W-40 Motor oil together with BG EPR cleaner, Fram tough guard filter. New Fuel filters, Air filter, cabin filter. Also transmission filter changed with Petro Canada Duradrive MV fluid.

2012 Toyota Corolla Supertech 0w20 synthetic, supertech filter. Car gets driven less than 7,000 miles a year so I'm going to try and do a one year oil change. It's not really an "extended drain" since Toyota recommended 1 year or 10,000 miles on synthetic oil. An engine without direct injection or a turbo, we'll see I'll probably get the oil change shakes after 6 months.
