@ChrisMU how much extra oil is needed to account for the larger filter? I am considering the larger filter for my Matrix at some point, and will need to account for the filter (and the extra .5 qt per T-SB-0134-08).2003 Toyota Corolla, 220,054 mi., 5k OCI

When I used the standard Corolla filter, I put exactly 4 quarts in. With 4.25 qts I put in this time, the oil level after two days of use is 2 mm above the full dot on the dipstick. I have also used the larger common Ford FL-400s/3600/51516 filter in the past, along with about 4.5 quarts, and had no issues. Then I got a good bulk deal on some Camry V6 size spin-ons.@ChrisMU how much extra oil is needed to account for the larger filter? Yeah this was definitely longer than what I typically feel comfortable with! However, I figured with the M1 0w-40 being well rated for long intervals it should be ok if we don't make a habit of it. These vehicles usually get up to temp for a while when driven, so I'm more focused on the miles. What were the Oil Life monitors at for each
car? 20 months sounds like European drain intervals. Thanks.
