Used Valvomax oil drain valve for the first time. Made the job so clean and easy. Highly recommended.

Everything I used with the exception of the drain pan, the 2.5-gallon container for the old oil, gloves, and the torque wrench: That's my bike's headlight on the right. It makes a great flashlight.

Old Purflux

Like Mr. Scott would do, I use my Star Trek keychain fob to pick the old O-ring from the oil filter housing. I got this fob from my son 12 years ago.

30-minute job, 20 of which was letting the oil drain thoroughly.

Left Honda filter for next time.
Went through about 1/2 qt. Topped off Coolant
Noticed a cracked windshield... Oops; what does that cost nowadays?
Does insurance cover a windshield in CA? Here in SC the state mandates that insurance pays for all glass repairs with $0 deductible (one of our few state laws that actually make sense...)

During a warranty visit, the dealership asked if i wanted to take advantage of the one free oil change i received with the vehicle's purchase. I said, why not.

Check and see if you get two free oil changes with your new car. I got two with a 2022 Acadia and four with the last two Duramax.
