My K&N went 10,000 miles in 3 years (the car was not driven for 1.5 years).

Does it look like it needs to be cleaned? Likely not with such low use.
I threw my old K&N into the air filter box on my Chevy 6.0 while I wait for my Fram Tough Guard to arrive on Amazon. I’ll keep it in until the summer forest fire season, and put the Tough Guard in.

Maybe we need to review the reason for K&N hate on Bitog. I’ve used my K&N off and on with my Chevy 6.0, particularly when towing. The engine now has over 250,000 miles and doesn’t burn oil at all.

cleaned both vf2007 kn cabin filter and AEM dry flow for my application. Have the afe dry flow panel in other car; afraid

K&N clearly states that compressed air should never be used to clean or dry these filters. In order to remove loose dirt bugs leaves etc only the use of a soft brush is permitted.
