For what it's worth, a friend used to make his own beer. He had me try two samples of the same batch, one bottled in plastic and the other in glass. You are misquoting me. My problem with canned drinks is the plastic liner. I'm not overly fond of ingesting endocrine disruptors. And even if the liners are BPA-free, with acidic content like beer, there are other chemicals leaching out of the plastic and into the consumable. Even though I have on average only one beer per week I'd rather avoid unnecessary exposure. And yes, even bottled beer has a little plastic sealant on the cap. If I were drinking as much as you do, I'd just buy a wooden beer barrel every week.![]()
Another thing is I don't care for the haptics of a can. A glass bottle feels very different from a can in my hands especially on a hot day. The glass bottle keeps the beer cooler for longer. Don't get me started on twist-off caps. For what it's worth, a friend used to make his own beer. He had me try two samples of the same batch, one bottled in plastic and the other in glass.
The one from the plastic bottle tasted a bit harsh. The one from the glass bottle was much smoother.
Not everything that comes out of Seaside Heights is a bunch of idiots and junky concessions…
This is absolutely delicious!

Enjoyed at my favorite ballpark - BlueClaws!
Me neither. But this is a sour, with vanilla and pineapple, and there is actually some pineapple purée or something like it in there. So it’s worth the ballpark money!I’m not much on fruity beers, but I absolutely love pineapple! That would probably be one that I would make an exception for. Cheers!![]()
