Samuel Adams Boston Lager tonight
Usually a SOLID baseline.... As an owner of the Boston Beer Company it is my go-to (Ok, only one share, but still counts

HOWEVER, this "Remastered" Boston Lager.... I'm not so sure about, little bit different I think.... can't put my finger on it, but to me NOT an improvement. Kind of like New Coke. Bummer, I said Boston Lager was about perfect, but some people just can't leave well enough alone. [sigh] (Also a little salty the BBC did not run this by me)
Sadly, I think I have to go back to my other favorite: Shiner Bach

It seems like Iāve heard of that beer, but it was quite a few years back. I like tangerines, so I would be willing to try it for sure.
I say that Iām not a fan of fruity beers, but German Hefe-Weizenās / Weissbierās have a strong hint of banana, and I love them, theyāre among my favorites. Maybe I should have said that Iām not a fan of most fruity beers that Iāve tried.
If itās an IPA, itāll be surprising if I like it though, theyāre usually way too hoppy for me.

I was thinking the same, why mess with it? The āRemasteredā isnāt any better IMO, but there again, I donāt necessarily think that theyāve completely ruined it either. I did notice that it seems to be just a little more dry and hoppy than the previous version.
That Coors banquet beer is classic! Between Budweiser, Miller, and Coors, this is the best one of those three.View attachment 162127
