Samuel Adams Boston Lager tonight

Usually a SOLID baseline.... As an owner of the Boston Beer Company it is my go-to (Ok, only one share, but still counts ;))

HOWEVER, this "Remastered" Boston Lager.... I'm not so sure about, little bit different I think.... can't put my finger on it, but to me NOT an improvement. Kind of like New Coke. Bummer, I said Boston Lager was about perfect, but some people just can't leave well enough alone. [sigh] (Also a little salty the BBC did not run this by me)

Sadly, I think I have to go back to my other favorite: Shiner Bach

How about Tangerine ? I use to buy Magic Hat #9 but can no longer find it .

It seems like I’ve heard of that beer, but it was quite a few years back. I like tangerines, so I would be willing to try it for sure.
I say that I’m not a fan of fruity beers, but German Hefe-Weizen’s / Weissbier’s have a strong hint of banana, and I love them, they’re among my favorites. Maybe I should have said that I’m not a fan of most fruity beers that I’ve tried.
If it’s an IPA, it’ll be surprising if I like it though, they’re usually way too hoppy for me.

I was thinking the same, why mess with it? The ā€œRemasteredā€ isn’t any better IMO, but there again, I don’t necessarily think that they’ve completely ruined it either. I did notice that it seems to be just a little more dry and hoppy than the previous version. šŸ¤”

Having this Coors Banquet with my steak 🄩 for Fathers Day with my dad. He is drinking an Edmund Fitzgerald porter. This was free and is surprisingly good.
That Coors banquet beer is classic! Between Budweiser, Miller, and Coors, this is the best one of those three. šŸ‘

Big Enos and Little Enos approve of this beer! Especially Big Enos, look at that smile! He’s thirsty! (I’m not sure if you get this reference or not. šŸ¤”šŸ˜‰)
