Yes. The goodyears are trash. PS4s are in another league. In fact, on corvettes when I went to Pahrump, they would pull the F1G2s off a vette and put PS2s on em. Cut 2 seconds off lap time. Way better. Goodyears are super meh.

You want a bigger shovel? Still can’t do a lap. And not having driven an F1 Supercar G2 I thought they were all run flats that wouldn’t be on a Corvette? They are not even in the same performance category. The new Corvettes come on Pilot Sport 4S stock?

For what? Im debating a dude who thinks the goodyear gen3 suv is a good tire. Its there for contract reasons, likely. The rest of the world gets PS4s. Similar to the c6 and c6zr1. GM was able to weasel out of contract and run PS on the Zr, because it was a "different model".

I believe they are a OEM only version of as4 specific to the c8.

I am aware of Omega. I owned one with BMW 2.5 diesel engine in Europe. That was actually a fantastic vehicle. But as you said, not sure whose idea was to bolt on GTO and say: yep, you go have fun. However, considering my Omega had 143 hp, the brakes were actually fantastic. V8? well...

My favorite Omega was the Lotus Omega, I always wanted one but they were rare and pricey, The car had all the right stuff.

The c6 stopped production in 2013. The pilot sport 4S didn’t arrive until 2017. Just what are you saying about Goodyear?

Ive not driven the new c8, but did track z06, zr1, gs, etc. C6 models. They came with GY minus the zr1. Goodyears have been second rate performance tires for years. Thats part of why Spring Mountain pulled them off and slapped on ps2 zp before tracking the cars. I asked and the delta was over 2 seconds.The ones American market got stuck with on the ev6 gt are no exception. Thats why my car posts way better times than Edmunds got. MT and CD test at some sticky tracks. Edmunds not so much. Noone serious is running GY.

Ah, with 6 speed. I drove that few times. It was insane vehicle. But what I really like from that 1990-1992 era was Opel Senator. Man, 1991 had rear heted seats. I meant many cars today don't have that or they advertise it as some kind of uber achievement.
I had 1997 Omega 2.5TDS, stick of course.

Keep in mind the only Taycan that can do this is the top model with CCBs. The Taycan regen won't allow lesser braked models to make it without cooking the brakes. This is why only those Taycan with CCB have posted times.

Lol, Porsche had (has?)a ton of issues with Taycan, (from defective cells to improperly sealed batteries, to batteries that leaked coolant into their interiors. Every time I looked at them, a new stop-sale was being issued or something.), and 4.9" of ground clearance isnt enough. Very happy with my GT.

You seem stuck on branding and have some weird obsession with "Nurburg or NOTHING!" Yet you drive family cars. Are you frustrated I'm not spending my money the way you want me to and your vicarious dreams aren't going as you want or something? It's really odd. Oh, and you LOVE the GLC43 AMG. It's like, your favorite. What's it's ring time...or did it not matter when you were all gaga over my neighbor's? I can't seem to find it's 'Ring time. Apparently it cannot, so bad, right? lol!

It was Holden Australia’s smaller budget and then North American execs seeing it on a trip there that made the GTO come to the states.
