With my general enjoyment of SOPUS products, and having read Johnny say that the Pennzoil ATF is a group II+, compared to Formula Shell and Quaker State being group II, I'm planning on using this for the next service on my Outback. I know Maxlife is a very popular replacement for my Dex III fluid, but I prefer SOPUS to Ashland.
Problem: I can find Maxlife EVERYWHERE and Pennzoil's ATF about nowhere. Or occasionally at O'Reilly's for $8 a quart. Now I can get Maxlife for under $4 a quart at WalMart, but WM never has more than the same 2 quarts of Pennzoil sitting on the shelf. I need a case of ATF for 3-4 drain and fills to get out the currently unknown miles and brand ATF.
Why does Walmart not want me to have my Pennzoil?
