Oversize Filter Question

I am trying to find a oversized filter for Fram or ST 7317 oil filters. After looking at both, they are very very tiny so was wondering what the oversized filter number would be. Thanks!

The undersize filter for you application is 6607

You can buy a Purolator for that application, which is about 3/4" longer... L14610 IIRC.

I've used ST 7317 sized filters occasionally on my Accord which calls for ST 3593.(Purolator 4459) I would think you could use these bigger filters if there is room.

deven: The important things to compare are: the gasket 2.475" dia.; the bypass pres. 8-10psi,; and thread size 5x20MM. I have used any of the following on my honda's. Wix 51344, 51334 or 51356. Take away the first didgit (5) to cross to NAPA Gold numbers. These are all larger diameter, (except 51356 ) than the small 7317 filter. The purolater L 14610 (Wix 51356 ) is a good choice if you can use only the small diameter. The Wix web site offers much information that is helpful.---Old tommy
