Previously I had used K&N 6002 on my big block Chevy, but they've been discontinued.
I've since adapted my work truck over to SAE 1-16 thread, and I am currently using a PBL45335 typically these are used with Ram 5.9 diesel engines.
Why not change my oil every 3-5k miles?
I put about 15,000 miles a year on it and I typically do my oil changes once a year, between my oversized pan and oil cooler I've got about 14 quarts of oil in the motor.
I had considered using the PPE:

However, it's really made for the Duramax-Diesel, and more importantly isn't readily available at my local auto parts store.
So, anyone have any suggestions? Is there a large(r) volume high mileage oil filter out there I should consider?
