One year since gasoline lawnmower sales banned in California

There are still some leftover gas lawn tools that Californian's can buy. As long as the machine was built in 2023 or older, it's green light. I recently bought a new Honda mower from Home Depot. They won't last long though.

I'm retired and I am home a lot in the afternoon hours. These lawn mowers are so loud, they go for hours and hours in my neighborhood from one house to another.

A while back somebody posted something about noisy generators. It seems like most of these Mow blow and go folks just turn these gas mowers and blowers up to full throttle. I think they're sense of thinking is that you turn it on and set the maximum throttle that it will go..

They blow smoke everywhere and contribute to Suburban noise pollution not to mention they just blow the crap from one side of the street to the other side, nobody sweeps and picks up the crap anymore.
These are my observations in my neighborhood.. If they want to take away gas blowers and mowers and wackers fine with me! Or perhaps they should have mandated a rule to have better Mufflers that filter noise and pollutants..

California is plague by a lot of Petty new rules, but we have such a growing over population it only makes sense to try to keep somewhat of a handle on the masses that are running Wild.

Most 4cycle ope engines are designed to run at full throttle since they are air-cooled. I have not seen a push mower with a manual throttle since the late 80's.

I'm in theb2 stroke screamer group. They last forever, batteries do not. I had a battery ryobi blower at work, worked great until the battery died 1 year later and a replacement was $100. What a joke.
Yep. My $300 dollar Stihl is 30 years old and will probably last just as long. The $300 Dewalt weed whacker that my neighbor gave me when he moved lasts 15 minutes on a battery and started to smoke last time my daughter used it. I highly doubt it's got 50 hours of use on it.

Is some government agency tracking the improvement this made? 0.00001% reduction in overall California emissions?? Virtue signaling at it's best.
And so now the emissions are way better after they banned small engines used to clear poorly managed brush and forests so they could burn down half the county which may had added a little to the air quality they will say.
