Sounds like an excellent application of Esso XD-3 0W30. A full PAO group IV synthetic for well under $5, and in some cases, under $4/L. Buy it from a bulk Esso dealer, not Wal-Mart.

Mobil-1 and Castro put a lot of money into marketing their products, hence they are more expensive. XD-3 is very minimally marketed and generally targeted towards fleet accounts and industrial users. Its characteristics are very similar to Delvac-1 and German Castro 0W30, so it should be an excellent choice for your engine.

pitzel, my-my, you're a quick study. Anywho, M1R 0w30 and Redline 5w20 are other options if your budget allows. MC 5w20 if you're on a tight budget. This is the 4-banger, correct?

Just my .02c worth...
I used GC in 3.2TL last summer, I found it was (in accordance with finding on this board) a little too thick for 6cyl 3.2.
I have used RL and RP 5W30 and got better gas mileage.
M1 0W20 in going in next.

That engine calls for a 30 wt.(I believe) my son has this car. I think the GC is good. I would think the 5w30 Mobil 1 woould be good also.
