I have a 2001 Sentra 2.0 with 51,000 miles on it. Driven very little now as my wife is working from home. Currently has PP in it and seems to be doing great. Question is would Maxlife synthetic be a better choice for the limited miles driven (about 5K a year now) or is the PP going to be fine? Thanks for all replies.

You could run tobacco juice in that SR20DE with no problem. I have an 01 SE with 88K.

Do you post here? http://www.b15sentra.net/forums/
Decent board for Sentras. I'm adc100 there.

Thanks for the replies guys. I agree with you Al, it is a tough little engine. It runs just as quiet and smooth as the day we bought it. Only problem has been with the power window motor and regulator going out on the driver side. It will cruise all day at 80mph+ and doesn't use a drop of oil. I guess I'll stick with the PP.

pp isnt as good as castrol syntec, and castrol syntec isnt as good as Eneos.

you have now been armed with a small slice of the vital information you will need to make a more accurate, intelligent decision of what oil is best.

thank you.
