I have (2) 20 rd. boxes of OATH ammo in 9mm. A friend gave them to me about (4) years ago, but l have never shot any of it. When shot it expands into a form like a helicopter prop.
Has anyone here ever used this ammo in target practice, or ANY other situation?
Opinions, please?

Just looked at a gel block test. A gel block test with clothing would be nice to watch but I cant find one.
The ammo has low pentation. The temporary cavity looks pretty good. It's the higher velocity loads like
the .357 Sig, .357 Magnum and high velocity rounds that produce a larger temporary cavity. Some people
buy into the temporary cavity being devastating and some don't.

My take is that the round is best used for someone living in an apartment complex.

Interesting loads, I was not familiar with them. Would be good to see what they do against heavy clothing.

Here's what they look like up close. Notice the lines in the bullet? They open up to form a cross/helicopter prop. And, there's a round copper cap that probably goes away when shot.
I found a video on YT where a man shot an OATH ammo rd. thru some jeans. It's not the best test, but it is shot into some clothing.
