Not sure about either. The CTEK showed the red error light so I quit trying it. For the Battery Tender, I was out of town for an extended period. No lights were on when I came back the the battery was very dead. We did have a power outage while I was away but if that killed the charger it was too frail.

I’ve got the knockoff version of a Ctek. Seems to be ok but with Pulsetechs and battery minder I really don’t use it. C tek just isn’t a charger that really interest me. I think my next one will be an Optimate. Anyone who doesn’t wanna spend battery minder money. The pro logix pl2140 just kept my wife’s agm charged to 100% while we were gone for a few weeks. Even after the main breaker got thrown.
