I bought a reconditioned honda hrr today at HD.Someone bought it and brung it back, so i got a 400 dollar mower for 275.I thought that i did good until i mowed the lawn,what`s the deal with the bag?It shoots grass out the sides and the top, and when you pull the bag to enpty it there is grass everywhere that did not make it into the bag.I`m not happy,might be going back and I`ll get a toro superbagger with a honda engine.I mean come on,my 20 year old sears did a better job of bagging.( It finally quit).

They have Genuine honda mowers at home Depot now? I've seen the MTD Honda clones with a Honda engine there.
I'm pretty sure the original customer assembled the bag wrong, and returned it that way.

They always have.
They don't carry the full line like a Honda power equipment dealer will, but HD generally carries a few model #s.

Check your blade. It sounds to me like the blade might be on up-side-down and it is blowing the grass rather than sucking the grass.
