I was at Wal-Mart the other night and noticed that they now carry a ELC coolant that meets CAT EC-1 standards. I picked up a gallon. It's price is alittle steeper then the others they had at just under ten dollars. I needed some to top off my VW Rabbit L diesel and thought this would be the best for my application. I just thought you guys would like to know this. I have seen it at three seperate stores in different areas. I am not sure if all W-M's are carrying it but all the ones I have been to in the last month have had it. Also I should mention that is a 50/50 delute.

WM sells the finalcharge stuff, in 50/50 as far as Ive seen so far.

A man must be very careful with todays anti-freezes for these newer cars.
JRs VW should be OK.
But some AF cannot be mixed with some others; check the VW board on this.
Fow a while longer I'll stick with the old "green" and yearly doses of anti-rust..
