Need help with filter application fulfillment

Is the Super Tech ST6607 the correct filter for the following application?

2006 Nissan Frontier V6

Nissan 15208-31U00
Replaced By
15208-9E01A

The ST6607 looks alot smaller

Yes. The original is a 7317 which is taller however, ST has consolidated part numbers. Go ahead and use the 6607, it's the correct number for your application.

I believe my Nissan ran the longer OE filter but have been using 6607's a long with 4612's with no reported issues.

That is one of those things I would seek out the proper 7317 size filter before settling for the down size 6607.
