Longer oil Filter for Frontier 4.0L V6

They have been that size for close to 15 years on that engine. If filter size was a problem, it would have shown by now. Chasing a quality filter I can understand, going larger for the feels, well that is your prerogative I guess.

i run my mobil I extended service 10-30 for a year 5 to 10 thou but closer to 5 since retiring, i will change the tea cup wix xp every 6 months unless i upgrade. quality hoses + connections seen to be the biggest concern for remote mounted filter kits

Use aircraft grade AN fittings/hoses and you will never have a problem.

I went with plain ol' black (specific for hot oil, though) hose and brass barbed fittings on my remote mount oil filter, no leaks yet.

Linctex, what adapters did you use + where did you mount the remote? still looking + deciding but the easy to cut + install oil specific rubber hoses are inviting. also on the adapters did you use side or end outlets on one or both. thanks in advance!!
