Nissan Frontier oil filter

After passing along all the great info on oil filters for Hondas to my son in law..... he asks this question:

"Is there any filter information on the Nissan Frontier? It seems like the Wix filter for my Frontier is smaller than the Fram. On my Honda, the Wix filter is bigger (diameter) than Fram."

I've searched the archives and come up empty.

If your Frontier uses a 9E000 OEM filter, try here for a start:
