I had bought some Syntec 5w20 a few months ago. I wasn't that excited about using it, but, since I already paid for it, why not. Anyway I opened the oil and decided to take a whiff. I never would have done this without visiting Bitog forums. It had a rather candy like smell. Not overwhelming, but, definately there. I had to have a smell comparison test, so, I opened a bottle of Pennzoil Platinum 5w30, Amsoil 2000, Pennzoil 10w30 and Craftsman chainsaw lubricant. The Syntec won hands down. The only oil that could be described as having a pleasant odor.
My oil smells good too.

Do you have any Maxlife? Nice plastic smell.
