I have a 10oz bottle (marked for each oz increment). I put in 4oz of RedLine S-1, 4oz of Techron, and 1oz of MMO.
I drive 2+ hours daily just for work, then off days running around. I usually fill when I'm at half a tank (7.5 gallons). At each fill, I been squirting a dose of a few ounces of this mix.
Could be me, but seems to idle smoother, and has a little more pep on normal easy acceleration.
I need to use up the MMO (half gallon or so left) and Techron (8 bottles for 22 gallon size) as I been wanting to go with S-1 (recently bought 8 bottles). So I went with this mix so the MMO & Techron doesn't go completely unused.
I'll dump a full bottle of S-1 on a tank prior to next OC.
Like I said, could be me - but the mix seem better than when I tried MMO alone, also better than when I tried the Techron alone. Maybe the mix and the add of S-1.. Idunno

I'd back off the MMO in the gas. Cats and o2 sensors don't like heavy doses of oil and upper cylinder lubricants long term. There is enough upper cylinder lube in the si-1 alone. save the MMO for the oil.

Dont see why you would need to run a full strength dose especially when you are running such a strong maintenance dose already.

Redline is an UCL + has a strong dose of PEA
Techron has PEA ( detergent )
MMO many believe has UCL properties.

Provided the chemistry is compatible , sounds like a pretty decent blend to run. Personally, I just run a bottle of Techron right before an Oil Change and use premium (require on my car).

I'm not running a full dose. This morning I put in about 2-1/2 oz of the mix to 7.6 gallons. Sometimes I do 2oz, another time might be 3oz.
I have been through 4 fills of a half tank of gas in the last week with as much running I been doing - mostly highway.
Just seems the RAV is running better than ever in the 5 years of driving it.

^^ I could back off the MMO - save for OPE etc. since the S-1 has UCL properties. I could start using the MMO and/or Techron in the other 2 vehicles that don't get driven much.

I heard a lot of rumors of products like MMO ruining cats and O2 sensors but I've yet to run into a problem like that. I have well over 210K miles on the original CC and 02 sensor in my 93 Aerostar. That vehicle used MMO in the gas since about 50K miles. I recently stopped using it, since it will be seeing the junk yard shortly if things work out.

My 88 E-150 used it all its life, either via an Inverse oiler or in the gas, many times both ways. Still the original CC in that vehicle too. My 85 E-150 had MMO dosing via an Inverse Oiler for well over 150K miles, original CC and 02 Sensor. Honestly I wouldn't worry much about a 400:1 mix of MMO in the gas, or even a slightly higher dose. I've been using it in my 08 Liberty too, since 300 miles, it runs like a champ.

I would avoid additives in the gas except for Techron and similar POA based additives. Leave the MMO on the Walmart shelf, even if its $5.00 a gallon.

Now if you had a diesel, then some additives might make sense, like some 2 cycle oil in the fuel.

LOL At $5 a gallon it would be flying off the shelves, in fact the Bitog members here that use it would clean them out in no time flat.

Because it hasn't happened to you doesn't make it a rumor. I used MMO for years on older cars without a problem. On the 02 Camry a P0420 appeared during a tank with 1/3 qt MMO. I'm running a post cat anti-fouler to keep the light out. Don't have to believe me, just passing it on. I'm done using MMO in the gas of a modern engine.

I agree that your putting a little too much stuff in. I found through lawnmover testing the more the fuel is diluted with stuff with less explosive properties carbon will form. And mpg is down with power. I put a very small dose of tcw3 in my vehicles every so often. I know that stuff is a pretty good ucl and cleaner. No scientific proof just cause 2-smokes are pretty clean and they only get lube from the oil mist so i guess its cool.

A rumor? No its a fact that I've been using since the 70's w/o issue. Tens of thousands of people have been using it too w/o issue. I bet there are more people using it w/o CC and O2 issues than those who had issues. I'm not disputing you had a problem, in fact I'd say to you don't use it. You're proof that something can happen, maybe others had the same problem and will share it too.

You posted your findings I posted mine, let people decide for themselves.

Maybe your engine and ECM are a bit over sensitive, and you OD'ed on it. I ran up to 2 qts in a 20 gallon of gas tank w/o issue. This was back when Gary Allan was experimenting with ATF and MMO in the fuel.

Can you overdose on PEA cleaner? I am not sure that is possible. But you can overdose on UCL such MMO and/or TCW3, at least in modern vehicles.

I was referring to your plan of running a bottle of redline after using this mix . Think of redline as MMO + Techron. Use one or the other imho. What you are doing isn't much different than running 5 different types of oil in a 5 qt sump at the same time.

My Jeep liked 4 oz MMO to 10 gallon so much I've run the last 1,000 miles at 6 oz per 10. The engine runs even better, not done testing mpg yet though.

been using MMO for about 3 decades. i see no reason to mix different additives. its hard enough to judge results, with one additive. using one additive is mixing two chemicals all ready. mixing more puts you in a place where you cant know where you are.

A huge overdose of MMO is still OK. [But not wise]
Even a small overdose of TCW3 2 stroke oil IS a problem, and should be avoided.

As to PEA cleaners, our wallets generally limit the overdose to reasonable levels!

What would happen with an OD on TCW3? I believe I got about 3 or 4 ounces in to 10 gallons before.

OD it enough and it will smoke, or possibly foul plugs, it all depends. It is not as forgiving of an OD as MMO is.

Makes sense if you're changing your oil every tank of gas.

If I'm only putting in a few ounces per fill, why would I want to change my oil every tank of gas?
I'm not dumping in a whole bottle. Last few fills I been using a about 2oz/10-gallon dose. And I'm now using the S-1 & Techron mix - decided to save the MMO for other things
