Does that extractor reverse flow direction to empty or do you pour it out?

Reason to use an extractor , being amount of oil and transmission fluid left in pans . Starts at 1:07 into video .

This was eye opening. That topsider is even cheaper than the mity vac. Sweet! Thank you
