I needed a new BCI 34 Battery to replace my East Penn Intimidator which after 3 years decides to drop voltage while idle to less than 12.2v overnight. I was having a hard time finding an AGM other than Interstate (that is another story). Hopped on Amazon, found this Marxon. Decided to give it a shot for $130

I didn't see anything posted on it. Just your Weize brand. It arrived today packaged well without any damage from NJ. Opened it up and it resting at 12.84v 👍

It seems to be well made. It's just as heavy. I'll follow up if I have any issues, but it looks like a quality battery for the money.

if it lasts 49 months or more, you beat the Walmart Maxx AGM alternative on $/month (which are made in China too, at least the H5s at the store I visited)

Country of origin is a total toss up on Walmart AGM batteries. If you are on the east cost, they are likely USA made by East Penn.
On the west coast they are supplied by Clarios, and I have seen Korea, Mexico, Germany, China and USA...and it can change back and forth throughout the year. Same at Costco with their Interstate batteries, also supplied by Clarios...also varying countries of origin. See below, I saw a German made Interstate with a "Made in Korea" overlabel.... lol.

They are all over the place. Interstate doesn't really manufacture batteries. They distribute them. Therefore they purchase from all different manufacturers, slap the lable on, and sell them. You can tell not only my the country of origin, but also the design itself. They vary quite a bit.

Note most Interstate batteries are mfg by Clarios. But some are mfg by other companies such as Exide. It's on the Interstate website.

Seems Interstate just slaps those "Made in Korea" labels on all their batteries, regardless of country of origin :)

Looks like they prefer the Korean batts.
After all, they had that country named on their labels.
However, Mexico and Germany were the low bidders on the respective days that they were acquired.
Or, that's who had some available.

I think it is more a matter of what was available...I see at both Costco and Walmart that the country of origin stickers change frequently. Sometimes it is size specific, but other times the entire rack changes...Clarios has factories all over the world; USA, China, Mexico, Germany and Korea.

Definitely what's available, as well as the low bid.
Last time I shopped a 35, I went to Costco.
Their 35 offering was an Exide (or whatever they call themselves now) wearing an Interstate/Costco label.

How is this battery working out so far for those of you are running it? Reviews state no real warranty or customer service and reliability seems it could be on par with other AGMs. Any other recommend brand or sources for an online group 34/26 agm ?

Online purchases can be riskly, especially with negative reviews. I've seen generally negative reviews from all vendors on Amazon related to warranty replacements. Buying from a store front makes more sense. I bought a Optima battery online and it leaked and Optima would not help and required me to go through the online retailer. The online retailer claimed I must have overcharged it to cause it to leak, end of story, no coverage.

My last four AGMs all came from WalMart with their four year free replacement warranty.
The only other online retailer I would consider is FCP euro...they lifetime warranty any battery they carry, which is somewhat limited in sizes and brands, but I will probably get an Odyssey from them. (note their warranty is a credit toward additional purchases from them)
