Never knew that. Thanks for enlightening me. So, it boils down to " not in my backyard " syndrome. Figures.... Have a similar problem in New York. Actually 3 problems. Lithion-Ion battery storage facilities, solar panel farms., wind turbines..... Nobody wants them in their " backyard", yet they want clean energy. Can't have you're cake and eat it too. Recently, just in the town I live in, it took 3 years to FINALLY build a cell tower. Town cried about poor cell reception, but refused to build a cell tower to improve reception. Took a new Town supervisor to push it through and have it built. He won by the smallest margin. We are our own worst enemies.
