These deaths are - almost without exception- an end to a sad life, usually the victim is trying to buy drugs which is also suicide by installment plan.
Maybe IF you can tell where the head of the line is…I heard it was a bit messy up there after this incident.

I don't mind saying it's too bad that isn't a very common occurrence during those crimes. Might slow them way down.
I can applaud a man's death. And this is no different.

Indeed, he was probably at the least a good and productive person at one point in his life. Drugs are insidious and transform a person into a single focused zombie. I pray for his soul that he has found peace now.
Crime never pays. Criminals would be so much better off getting an honest job.

It's clearly an "occupational hazard". It's not the first time someone trying to cut out a catalytic converter has died doing it. Most are trying for speed to reduce the chance of being confronted, so it's not like there's time to set it up with proper jackstands.
Even working on my own car, I'd be wary of jack stands. I live in earthquake country. Personally I think ramps with chocks are safer for lifting up a vehicle.
