UNIT NUMBER: 01 CHEVY
EQUIPMENT MODEL: 8.1L 496 CI V-8
FUEL TYPE: Gasoline (Unleaded)
OIL USE INTERVAL: 4,013 Miles
OIL TYPE & GRADE: Mobil 1 10W/30 (Gas)
MAKE-UP OIL ADDED: 3 qts (sump capacity 9QT)
Blackstone comments: Nice improvement in sodium. We don't think it was a coolant issue--if it was, it would still be present, especially since you ran this oil longer than the last. Wear still looks fine, showing no changes that would indicate a new problem in your GM engine. Insolubles (oil oxidation due to heat, use and blow-by) were low at 0.3%, showing good oil filtration and complete combustion. Silicon was low at 9 ppm, showing no problems at the air filtration/induction system. You could go longer on the oil if you wanted. Try 5000 miles next time.
the oil was not changed at the 48k sample but a Oilguard eps-20 was installed so excluding the make-up oil most of witch was to fill the new filter this oil was run 2K with and 2k without bypass filtration
I am not sure what to think of this, I am going to look at the #'s for a wile

Fresh oil values taken from Mobil 1 Virgin Oil Analysis Compendium . But I think Mobil has tweaked the formula since then including thickening itcode:
