I'm one of those and can tell you to a "T" what kind of mileage I'm averaging.

Not a thing wrong with being anal, that was my point. Too many people here know their cars better than themselves, and are claiming added mpg's and better running cars with the addition of MMO. Too much of a coincidence for me.

I'm doubting it's a coincidence either, my car is just running really well. I can tell you that MMO will go in the gas for as long as the car runs.

I'm checking with Terry to see if the solvents in the MMO (sending him a virgin sample) and the MMO that ends up in the oil through the combustion process is doing any harm to the engine. I doubt it, but just to be safe...

Will let y'all know when the results come back!

Awesome, thank you very much.

BTW, I have been keepiing MPG logs since I was 16, manually calc'g. If the MMO works in my 2 new cars I will certainly notice just as I know that Shell will return, at least, 5% better mpg in every car out there given my experience over every other brand that is non race fuel.

Why would it do harm when MMO is also meant to be added to oil?

I use it in the oil, and it also makes a difference in cleaning and adds to the peppiness of the motor (and not due to oil thinning as I went up a grade when I started adding 1 qt MMO, so the net, net is the same or slightly thicker viscosity)

Somewhere in the UOA section there are some MMO users, the reports were quite good as I recall.

True.

Still interested to see the results, more data is always a good thing :).

Terry knows what a virgin sample of my Amsoil contains as far as Phos/Zinc goes and also has a trend on what my normal Zinc/Phos levels are at my regular OCI's so if they are heightened I would imagine this would lead us to believe that there is Zinc/Phos in MMO or that the MMO is making life easier on the additive package.

Don't really care, MMO works great, truck has never run better even if (and I don't think so) it's at a shortened life of a Catalytic Converter.

I can't see a company like Turtle Wax which makes some really outstanding products (MMO included) having a product that destroys engine components. Just doesn't make sense for them to have survived and for there to be as much good testimonial around.

On another note I have found that I get slightly better response and mileage from adding the 4oz/10gal to every second tank of gas and leaving the tank in between with no additive in it.

I have made sure to fill up at low fuel light to ensure that it wasn't because I was overdosing.

So 2oz/10gal every tank works great, but 4oz/10gal every other tank works best for me. Just thought I would share.

everyone!

Sharing is what it's all about. I have quite a dialogue with a few guys via pm about MMO. It is developing quite a following.

Oooh oooh, can I be on that list?

It's really too bad that there are a lot of naysayers on here that haven't tried the product or tried to accurately test it in their applications and bark about it. But then again these are the same people that bark about other products like ARX & M1 so I guess it's no surprise.

Oh well their loss I guess.

You've made the list!

+1 on the naysayer comment. I wish if people didn't use a product they would either say nothing, or if they are quoting something they heard through the grapevine, or some second or third hand info let us know it.

Exactly!

Just finished my second tank with MMO, and the results are excellent! And this is with a 10% ethanol gas... BP... Didn't make it to my Shell

Shell may have 10% ethanol, but they don't label it at least.

Anyway, like I said, I was averaging 27-28 at best before. My first tank with MMO was 29.77, my second tank I filled today was 29.98! And that is with the AC running, more traffic, and more aggressive driving then last time. Less "watching/babysitting" the MPG instant gauge!

I really hope this keeps up, I am loving the results so far. I have not got 29, let alone a hair away from 30 since last year. And that was straight 65-70 freeway turnpike driving on cruise. This is mixed highway traffic jams, a little city, and highway driving. Very impressed.

If I can make it a 3rd tank at 29 or above, I will be really happy...

But but...... I heard from a friend of a friend of a cousin four times removed that MMO caused the engine in his Model A to go boom. Or was it the nitroglycerin he poured down the carb while the motor was running......

Nice results, I'm seeing some as well. 28.05 first tank and 31.8 second tank.

I'll be happy if this mileage continues!

. People that have made that elite list I've exchanged PM's with, but in your case I'll make an exception. Welcome aboard!
