Seems like it is starting to find new homes in different places (Glad it's not just WM jugs anymore)

Noticed it at ACE Hardware this morning, and now it is showing up in jugs at Meijers (21.99) Should work nicely with Mperks...

if the price stays reasonable it will sell if it starts to creep up it wont sell as fast. Its an ok oil not great but good in my opinion i don't think it cleans as well as the pennzoil also a sofus product. I have used both of them. How much at ace hardware??

Didn't have a price yet...employee mentioned 6.99 I think....

Yep, I just noticed it at Meijer a couple of days ago. They really stood out with the bright gold color.

I still prefer to just get it at Menards when they have it on sale, however. I still have quite a bit left from when I stocked up last year.

True, but it's hard not to like the jugs though!

It's good enough to serve all the needs of the VAST majority of drivers in the US. The nit picking between brands of syn oil, for 95+% of people, is old.

Kinda miss the clear bottles....

Have good luck with QSUD myself....glad I can get some deals on jugs now....

It's supposed to have a pretty low NOACK, which I've read here is a good thing for DI engines like the one in my Regal. Once my 4th "free" oil change is used up at the dealer, in June or so, I'll try QSUD for my next change.

Based on Shell's website data, QSUD's Noack is merely typical for synthetics - 12/13%.

I thought I'd read here that it was more like 8-9% -- almost as low as Pennzoil Platinum?

ETA: No, Pennzoil Ultra.

Actually, the current GTL version of Platinum has a lower NOACK than the current Ultra Platinum...at least in 0w-20, 5w-20 and 5w-30 grades. The older version of Ultra had a very low NOACK value but apparently not so with the current Ultra Platinum stuff.

A decent synthetic oil at a friendly price widely available in the 0W-20, 5W-20, 5W-30 and 10W-30 grades with pretty decent cold performance.
What's not to like?
I have twenty five quarts of FAR QSUD 5W-30. I've yet to use the oil in any engine, but I have used both QTP and QHP in various engines.
It seemed to work as well as any other oil.
The pricing of QSUD relative to other OTS synthetics is probably more a matter of market segmentation than anything else.
The oil appears to have as solid an add pack as either PP or M1.
