Oh, btw... This may be a shock for some, but out of all these cars the most reliable ones had Salvaged/Rebuilt titles. All the ones that sucked my wallet dry were Clean title cars. Take it as you will. Thanks for the fun trip down the memory lane. Here we go.
- 2001 Honda Civic LX coupe. Auto tranny blew soon after I sold it. ooops.
- 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5S. Eh.
- 2001 Honda Civic LX coupe. T-boned in passenger side and whiplashed into another vehicle with the driver side. New owner fixed all damage, just to have the auto tranny bite the dust soon after. Double ooops.
- 2008 Mazda 6i, 2.3L manual. Comfiest driver seat I ever sat in. A huge bonus on long drives, 31MPG with 500+ mile range was nice too.
- 2003 Pontiac Vibe. Most reliable vehicle I ever had. Sold at 285k miles.
- 2001 Lexus IS300. Should've kept it.
- 2008 Pontiac Vibe. Most unreliable vehicle I ever had. Sold at little over 100k miles.
- 2000 Lexus GS300. Great DD. Tranny gave up the ghost at 365k miles.
- 2009 Scion xB2. Awesome spacious daily driver. Couple deer at 5AM killed it.
- 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe. Love the 5.7L V8. Love the 4x4. Hate the 12MPG.
- 2000 Honda CRV. B20z2/5MT/AWD. Tons of fun off the pavement with All Terrain tires. On pavement super slow, yet still super fun. Burned oil like there is no tomorrow. (1qt per every fuel fill, roughly every ~275 miles.)
- 2006 Toyota Camry 3.0L V6. It's a Camry, 'nuff said. Currently on spare car duty, when daily drivers go down.
- 2010 Volvo XC70 3.2L AWD. Amazing family hauler station wagon. Got up to 30MPG hwy. Sold at over 270k miles.
- 2010 Toyota Avalon. Took over the family hauler status after selling the Volvo. Japanese Buick, but better.
- 1990 GMC Sierra 1500. Current DD, when weather doesn't allow me to ride the scooter. (I ride down to 30F, as long as its dry.)
BONUS two-wheel fleet:
- 2020 Honda Ruckus. 49CC/40MPH/110MPG. Sold.
- 2009 Tomos Nitro. 150CC/62MPH/85MPG. Sold.
