Y'all:

In order of the time I owned them.

1962 Healey 3000 BT7 (a rare triple carb model)
1971 Triumph TR6
1963 Healey 3000 BJ7
1973 Jaguar E-Type Series 3 V12 (4 speed manual!)

The Healeys and TR were some of the best cars I've ever owned. Super reliable and always fun. Wish I had those Healeys now. I was the second owner of both, and both of them were well preserved, rust free California cars. They fetch big money now. I was the second owner of the TR as well. Bought it with 11K miles, sold it with 154K. I used it as a daily driver for over a decade. It never let me down. I proposed to my wife in it. The E-Type, was a different story. When it was good, it was great. When it misbehaved, I hated it (the OPUS ignition was not reliable, it would stop dead in its tracks). But, there is nothing like the wail of a V12 at WOT at 143 mph! On wire wheels!

Enjoy,

Scott

Those are beautiful cars. Seems like there is a market for cars like that today.
