A lot to type.
1986 Toyota Truck- sold to a bunch of dudes who came to our house just to ask if it was for sale. Needed synchronizers in the transmission. Dad paid $2600 for it at the flea market in 2004 sold it for $800 with the transmission problem for $800 in summer 2006. He says he feels he got burned on it, it was used by the previous owner exclusively to pull a boat to Massachusetts from new to 2004.
1977 Alfa Romeo Spider- sold to previous owner who’s wife begged us to sell it back to them. It arrived back to Tazewell VA where we are from on a tow truck and the previous owners wife called and cussed my dad out because it wasn’t running. He clearly explained that before he sold it back to them
. She called back later and apologized.
1994 Toyota Corolla- wrecked in 2002 by mom, got fixed by my dad and gave to my aunt who gave it to someone else. Luckily me or my sister or mom weren’t hurt the sun was in her eyes so not really anything she could do.
1996 Toyota Avalon- bought in 2002 traded in 2005 on 2001 Jeep Cherokee.
2001 Jeep Cherokee- still own just engine needs to be replaced.
1994 Ford Econoline- still own just can’t figure out why it idles so high from the start up. 138,000 current miles.
1994 Dodge Intrepid- dad bought for sister at auction. Sister complained because it wasn’t convertible, dad sold it to mechanic who drove it down the highway at 90mph and shot the water pump through the radiator.
1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle- bought October 12th 2019 for $1600, still have it’s one of my many projects
1989 Mazda B2200- my first car (truck actually) bought in July 2018 for $1,050 with 104,000 currently only has 108,000 sat for about 17 years under a carport.
1990 Mazda B2200- bought March 2021 as another project now if I could just find the darn keys
.
2004 Toyota Camry- 279,000 currently. Dad is mad because I keep spending money fixing it up because I don’t want to get rid of it. No major work done. Bought 6/25/10 for $13,000 with 64,000 miles.
2008 Ford Escape- bought September 2019 for $800 from my aunt who was mad she left sunroof open and it leaked inside. Bought with 165,000 currently has 172,000 new daily driver by dad even though it’s mine I just am nice and let him drive it. I pay insurance on it and the beetle and both my trucks.
2017 Toyota Camry- mom bought because she wanted a new car because her coworkers all had new cars and didn’t like the look or features of the 2018 models so she got the 2017 new.
These are all the ones we have owned in my 19 years of being alive. I sure do miss our Alfa but the fuel injection always gave us problems. They have had many more before that when my sister was little. We have always been ones to have many cars. If I wrote all the ones dad and mom have owned alone and together I’d be here all night LOL.
