Lets talk about new vehicles

Looks like you have to hold the voice control button to activate it and not just push it. I will have to try that..weird.

Seems VW killed the wheel control answering in 2019
From what I read...
Touch screen...hope not.

@KCJeep

Hey Mister KC
On your VW do you have to answer the phone on the touch screen???

I'm not sure, I mostly make calls rarely receive them and when I do it's right there on the display so I push the button. EZ PZ.

I think your infotainment is way more sophisticated (read complicated) than mine.

Yeah, from what I hear. I do like simple though.
But in fairness it is absolutely crystal clear in call quality- amazing.
Thanks KC

Been seeing a herd of white Q3's around here.
I know, I know, but they do have the Outlander Sport look and style.
Looks like a nice CUV.

Surprise! I thought the Jetta would be way less.

Then again it is in total ownership costs...tires are half the price, it uses less gas etc etc.

Hummer EV....
Give it to me and I would be thrilled...
Did you see how bad the plastics are in it..hoping it is just a prototype finish.

Premium fuel hurts the overall cost of ownership though.

I like the SE because the 18 inchers are stiff enough for me. No way would I want twenties..

The Arteon dipstick.
Wow I didn't want to force it to pull out but it does require muscle.

Being new and all I wanted to be careful. It has two prongs so to speak keeping it on the tube.
You have to rip it out...😳
IF its like the "dip stick" tube on my A4, (the A4 doesn't have one, its the drain access) the tube has two flat spots on either side the allow the two prongs to be rotated into to allow ease of access.

It does have one and prior I did look for what you mention. Reason being it was stiff...Happy it does although you need to yank it.

A little time on the Vortex Arteon forum confirms that...guys on twenties are constantly replacing tires and often wheels from hitting pot holes and the like. No thanks. The Arteons on 19s seem fine in this regard, my Passat also wore 19s and I hit potholes so hard once I had to get realigned. Could not believe it didn't blow, but there was no damage. OEM Continentals.

Yeah Romanian Contis on mine
17's would have been okay for me.

This gent did over 2000 miles in a 4Motion R Line Arteon and got 41 or close mpg- crazy especially in a heavier Arteon over my FWD SE.
For @Quattro Pete like I was saying- starting the video right where you see this.
I coined it DBD........................ "Drive by Dash"
I am used to it and like it.
